Vaping is the act of inhaling and exhaling the vapor produced by an e-cigarette. It is a common misconception that e-cigarettes produce just a water vapor, when in fact, that vapor consists of fine particles of toxic chemicals that have been linked to cancer, respiratory, and heart disease. The most common method of vaping is the JUUL, which makes up about 72% of the e-cigarette market. One vaping pod for a JUUL contains about the same amount of nicotine as a pack of cigarettes.
Vaping is Harmful.
As of January 2020, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed 57 deaths in patients with e-cigarette, or vaping, product use associated lung injury (EVALI).
